With approximately 230 members the women’s association Frauenverein Rüschlikon is one of the largest not-for-profit organizations in the village.
It is also one of the oldest. Frauenverein Rüschlikon was founded in 1891 by well-to-do local women to provide help to the poorest families.
More than 125 years later it still supports people in need, while giving its members the opportunity to meet at various events. List of upcoming events.
We also take an active part in the social life of the village. We give visitors to the annual fair, the Christmas market and the annual candle-making workshop a chance to enjoy our coffee and homemade cakes, waffles and soup.
Together with two other associations we also run the Café International, a weekly meeting point for all, where old friends and new ones can get together for a chat and refreshments.
We welcome women of all ages living in Rüschlikon or in the vicinity.
